Response to Opposing Viewpoint

In a perfect world, I would love just hot summer days and no winters. But this is not a perfect world and we are the reason for global warming, for at least most of it. I didn't like this article at all. He seemed ignorant and seemed to take every aspect of global warming and put a happy spin on it. He was totally small minded to every fact, solution and problem we're facing and seemed to terrorize the government and all scientists by stating this was all just a scheme of media frenzy. He believe this is all just nature taking it's course, which it is. But it's nature taking it's course by trying to compensate for human stupidity and international industries that are killing our environment. Hopefully nature will take over with a freak ice age or volcanic attack ending all human life and giving the world a chance to restore it's natural balance and to start over. I thought it would be helpful to have at least one article that wasn't filled with depressing fact that earth as we know it is coming to an end. But this article was no help at all and was fill with promises, ideas and hopefulness that humans are smart enough to fix whatever really problems we have to face and that even those problems won't get that bad. And if they do we can always just build big walls to keep all the bad stuff out! This man seemed to be living in a dream and needs a big dose of reality, fast. It was hard to read about what someone, with actually very many credentials, seems to think about the climate changing and his proposal to try and save us all. All in all, this was a wasteful article to research but it will give an opposing view to the effects of climate change. Next week I will surely refocus on the actual effects of climate change and the actual consequences they possess.
